BIG HEAD Ransomware Report

Variants of the newly released Big Head Ransomware are thought to be distributed through fake Windows updates, malicious advertisements such as Word installers, and phishing mail campaigns. It has been determined as a result of research that there are several varieties of Big Head Ransomware, which appeared in late May. There is no clear information about from which region it spread.

Unlike other ransomware, it has features that set it apart. Big Head launches a fake Windows Update image to trick users into believing it's a legitimate software update process. Although it is determined as a standard ransomware as a result of the analysis, it is a newly released ransomware with some features of its own.
